The Difference Between Mint City Elements and Mint City Multi-Sport

Mint City has mystery packs for every type of collector.

Mint City has quickly become one of the favorite mystery packs among both sports and Pokémon collectors! No matter which Mint City mystery pack you buy, you’ll always get great value from a fun rip. Not sure which repack is right for you? Here are the differences between Mint City Elements and Mint City Multi-Sport.

Mint City Elements: A Favorite of Pokémon Collectors

Mint City Elements is our fresh take on Pokémon mystery packs. While some mystery packs contain a handful of common cards, you’ll only find high-quality cards and packs in Mint City products. You can always expect to unwrap one graded card, one raw card, and one pack in Mint City’s Mint Trainer Box. 1 in 12 lucky collectors will unwrap the case hit, worth at least three times the price of the box!

Mint City currently has two levels of TCG mystery packs: Elements and Elements Surge. Both products have one graded card, one raw card, and one pack, but the two different price points offer different levels of value.

As with all Mint City mystery packs, the price will be within the value range of what’s inside. The lowest valued pack is called the “floor,” and the highest valued pack is the “ceiling.” The rest of the packs fall somewhere in the middle. These floor and ceiling values will always be posted with our Mint City products. The appeal of sports and Pokémon mystery packs is that, although there’s a chance you might get the floor, the average value of the packs is significantly higher than with a regular booster box or ETB. If you’re lucky, you’ll pull the case hit worth much more than what you paid!

Mint City Elements is our original TCG mystery pack. Priced at $100, the floor is $25-$30 and the ceiling is $300+. Mint City Elements Surge is one step up. Priced at $150, Surge’s floor is $50-$60 and the ceiling is $500+. With both Elements and Surge, collectors have a one-in-twelve chance to pull a trio of Pokémon items worth three times the price of the pack.

Mint City Multi-Sport: Something for Every Sports Fan

Unlike Mint City Elements, which has three items, Mint City Multi-Sport goes all in on a single card. Each mystery pack holds one raw or graded card. Baseball, basketball, and football cards make up most of the Mint City Multi-Sport repacks, but you can sometimes find soccer, hockey, or other sports cards in our mystery packs.

There are six different levels to Mint City Multi-Sport, each based on distinct South Florida cities: Hollywood, South Beach, Ocean Drive, Wynwood, Biscayne, and Brickell.

Mint City Hollywood is the base option for our sports mystery packs, structured similarly to Elements. Hollywood is priced at $100, with a floor of $20-$30 and a ceiling of $300+. Mint City South Beach is the next level up, akin to Elements Surge. Priced at $150, South Beach’s floor is $50-$60 with a ceiling of $500+.

Mint City Ocean Drive, priced at $250, is one of two mid-tier options. The floor for Ocean Drive is $70-$80 and the ceiling is $800+. Wynwood is a step up. Priced at $350, the floor is $100-$120 and the ceiling is $1,200+.

Mint City Biscayne is the first of two high-value options. Priced at $500, Biscayne has a floor of $150-$170 and a ceiling of $2,000+. Mint City Brickell is our most valuable multi-sport mystery pack. Priced at $750, the floor is $250-$275 and the ceiling is $3,000+.
